Review of The Possession (2012) by Don S — 10 Oct 2013
Possibly the finest PG-13 horror movie I've seen. The demon is suitably creepy. The acting by Morgan and Calls is very effective. There is not much in the way of gore or effects and action takes place off-screen; this actually works in the movie's favor as my imagination is pretty vivid.
The story is standard possession fare, but the atmosphere of creepiness pervades throughout and ratchets it up a notch. I thought this was awesome!
