Review of The Possession (2012) by Bil K — 10 Apr 2014
I think the movie nails the present condition of the lack of morals and faith in America today...an America without belief in God and completely self absorbed.
A typical American family -going thru divorce and no religion.
The acting is well done by all especially Morgan in the lead role.
Interesting take on what happens to the family when they come to the realization that the possession is real the have no where to turn and are completely desperate for help but all except one of the people they turn to for help want nothing to do with them or "it". But they never pray and God is never mentioned, they rely on themselves and seek other humans advice and help to solve a clearly supernatural problem. The ending was EXTREMELY well done and a total surprise and thought provoking. I absolutely recommend this movie but probably for different reasons than most...I pray that America will once again become a Christian nation...people need to believe that possession is real and demons and the devil have turned away from God and very much welcome us to do likewise.
