The Poseidon Adventure is the best disaster film I have seen since The Towering Inferno. It was very entertaining and is a very action packed edge of your seat thriller. This movie was the movie that made me start to like Gene Hackman. He did a great performance and everything about to his acting and his character. Shelly Winters I thought was beloved. When her character died it was one of the saddest parts of the whole entire movie. But overall this is a fantastic movie and one of the best disaster movies ever made.
