Although I really agree that the plot was really "padded" like the consensus said, I think this movie should still be certified fresh because it just has magic in it that can make all ages smile.
Also, the visuals were fantastics, some of the best I've seen in any movie. Although I think younger audiences will like it the most, there is material for the older audiences to enjoy and I would recommend it, especially to older kids who are starting to not believe in the magic of Santa anymore.
