Review of The Polar Express (2004) by Devlin R — 30 Dec 2013
The story is really contrived and of an overtly feel-good tone, the songs are rather obnoxious, the characters are good though, the moral good...but WHY does the animation have to be so creepy for the humans? What, is the Polar Express train full of bath salt addicts? Overall, the movie's true moral should be: If a guy in a train full of children tries to invite you to join him on a trip to the North Pole, and offers you hot chocolate, do NOT drink it! Hallucinations of Santa Claus may follow and you will find that your facial features will look even more emotionless than you probably already are.
