Review of The Polar Express (2004) by Joanne O — 22 Dec 2018
I haven't read the book, but enjoy the filmed version of the story. Some of the characters are very atypical compared to other films, for example, a determined and smart young black girl and a quiet, shy young white boy, which is a very refreshing change.
It's life action motion-caption animation seems strangely advanced and detailed for a 2004 film but adds visually to its uniqueness.
