Review of The Poison Rose (2019) by Amateurfilmvwr — 27 Sep 2022

This wasn't for me. It was a paint-by-numbers plot with a bad screenplay and poor editing to boot. It's cool to see good actors like Travolta, Freeman, Fraser, Robert Patrick and Famke Jannsen share the screen together but Fraser is incredibly over-the-top and weird in his performance.

Morgan Freeman is passable but at times, he looks like he'd rather be anywhere else but on the screen. This isn't even mentioning some incredibly stiff acting by Ella Bleu Travolta and not to mention Brendan Fraser and Pete Stormare's ridiculous accents.

I could go on and on but It's really not a good film.
