Review of The Plague of the Zombies (1966) by Al M — 11 Oct 2008
Great early zombie film from hammer studios that crafts itself more on atmosphere and eeriness than on gore. No flesh-gobbling, but here too zombies are used to offer social criticism about the exploitation of the lower classes.
Not to be missed by zombie fans or Hammer fans.
