The fact the film was split into very definitive and necessary parts was unfortunately the very reason it felt overly long and sprawling. It becomes apparent how ambitious this movie is but ambition does not mean it will work.
One thing is for sure, there's some great talent on show here with memorable performances from all. Good but disappointingly not great.
