Getting into this movie, I thought it was going to be a lot more like Ryan Gosling's earlier crime thriller Drive (2011). But no, it's actually a much more dramatic film, and the connection between all the characters is interesting, blending themes of revenge, coming-of-age, crime, fatherhood, social status and father/son relationship.
It's an entertaining and moving film, from beginning to end, with a golden all-star cast. A powerful piece of work. Recommended !!
