Incredibly well acted by the entire cast especially Ryan Gosling and Bradley Cooper, smoothly directed by Derek Cianfrance, The place Beyond the pines is a beautiful, potent, dramatic film that transcends into filmaking at it's finest, even if the movie is a little drawn out at times.
