I love animation, British comedy, and pirates, so I figured this would be hilarious. And it definitely has its moments, though it is not quite as funny as I had hoped upon seeing the trailers. It's definitely a fun family film with plenty of humor the adults can appreciate, but overall I don't think it will stand out in my mind for any great length of time.
It's harmless, but not terribly memorable.
