Why would anyone like this movie? It's horrible. The lighting, sets, costumes, and script are bad. It's probably the worst Cole Porter picture ever made. The performances are nothing to write home about.
The choreography is boring and the musical numbers are pretty sparse. I'm fairly certain this is the worst musical I've ever seen, including those made in the modern era. I could be overlooking one or two, but they're not immediately coming to mind.
