Review of The Pink Panther (1963) by Alan D — 15 Jan 2009
A fairly standard crime caper becomes somthing bigger when peter sellers gives his superb characterization of inspector jaques clouseau. slap stick and some quite unsual farscical moments give it enough pace too keep you going, but other than than that it can be quite slow and leave you begging too see more of sellers.
the pink panther wouldnt be as renound and celebrated if it wasnt for sellers superb comic timing and dead-pan exspresion. it must be seen even for his preformance alone, and that is why I give it four stars.
