Review of The Pink Panther (1963) by Mike H — 31 Jul 2011
Iconic sixties comedy that's more intelligent than its legacy would have you believe. Peter Sellers' first time in Inspector Clouseau's slippery shoes is a bumbling triumph of slapstick charm, made even funnier by the film's balancing of physical humour with an engaging plot and surprisingly well-rounded characters for a film of this type.
All in all an important watch for comedy fans.
