Review of The Picasso Summer (1969) by Jay N — 29 Jun 2013
What an odd movie. Intercepted throughout the film are impressionistic art montages that are representations of either the previous scenes or the upcoming ones. The script is diffuse within itself and the art sequences fracture it further.
The film doesn't properly utilize the talented Finney and the beautiful Mimieux but does offer many gorgeous shots of Spain.
