Review of The Piano Teacher (2001) by Ann D — 15 Jun 2007
I saw the R-rated version which I've heard is much tamer than the unrated version. The scenes would just abruptly end, and I kind of knew that I was missing something. It's been a while since I saw it, but I remember thinking that Huppert's performance was utterly brilliant and terrifying but stuck in an uneven, if very well-intentioned movie.
