A somewhat sick story!!
It shows what extremes there are in life. Unable to detach herself from her overpowering mother, Erika has her own ideas about sex and when she at last is offered love and sex she only wants it the way she has phantasized..... and that involves brutality.
A long drawn out story as most French films tend to be in my opinion, but although a little boring (and as I say, totally sick) it is also a film that draws you in so that you can't look away and you need to see the end.
