Isabelle Huppert is impresive as the piano teacher, a very demanding and hard role to play. Not everyone would take on a character such as this. In this movie Haneke uses long shots of the actors, just as in Funny Games. Hardly any music, exept for the piano.
Some of the scenes can be a bit disturbing to watch. But worth it.
