Review of The Piano (1993) by Ross C — 13 Feb 2010
Sex in the prudish Victorian society of New Zealand. I couldn't relate to the characters so didn't find their motivations particularly plausible, but it's apparently popular amongst the ladies.
The famous Michael Nyman score dates the movie somewhat, but there's some enjoyable cinematography to complement it.
