Good eros and some moments of pure beauty, mostly thanks to Nyman's classic score. Also a great cast, especially Hunter and Paquin, the latter IMO in her best performance to date. The ending is anti-climactic and the script slips on its own ambitiousness sometimes: simpler would have been better.
