Not exactly a movie I'd rent, buy or have in my collection but saying that I got the chance to watch it. Nice to see Sam Neil surface in a lead role, especially after getting into the new TV series of 'Alcatraz' recently.

Harvey Keitel bares all and also plays a different role compared to his hardened, gangster 'Pulp Fiction' or Reservoir Dogs' type. Holly Hunter plays the mute widow who also gets a little raunchy but after seeing her in 'Crash' she's not afraid of getting naked.

Too much of a slow pace for my liking and a strange but interesting mix of rough, ragged settlers or tribes along side the dress code of Ada, her Daughter and the guys, almost like it shouldn't go.

It was like watching a period drama but in mud huts and jungle. Correct for the setting of the movie but just appeared a little weird. Obviously Ada doesn't speak throughout the movie and there's not a great deal going on apart from piano playing.

Very arty and, yeah I get it why others may find it a powerful drama - but not me on this occasion.
