Review of The Pianist (2002) by Jesse O — 15 May 2011
Roman Polanski gives us the grittiest, and most gut-wrenching, yet beautiful picture of 2002. Adrien Brody shines under Polanski, and one finds oneself skipping a beat with every one of Spzilman's dangerously narrow escapes.
A tasteful, masterly take on the the Second World War and its impact, remember to bring a box of tissues for this one.
