Review of The Pianist (2002) by Keshav S — 28 Jul 2011
At times I questioned my subjection to the encompassing sadness of this piece, but that question eventually drowned itself and I was left mesmerized and moved. Although some scenes seemed to lack an intangible quality, the Pianist nonetheless stands as Polanskis' opus.
Also including Adrien Brodys' strongest performance to date.(excluding The Thin Red Line.).
