Review of The Pianist (2002) by Wildaly M — 26 Dec 2013
It is hard to put in to words the review for this heart and gut wrenching movie. It is a masterpiece, and incredibly hard to watch. Brody was phenomenal in it, as well as everyone else. The cinematography, scenery, everything seemed so genuine, so gritty and real, like one was really there in Warsaw during the dark days of the War and it's Holocaust.
I am forever changed by this movie, seeing how humans could quite literally wipe others off the face of the planet, others who are human as well. It makes no sense whatsoever, and during this movie my heart ripped apart so kuch I literally wanted to punch something, I had so much emotion.
What an important, important movie, ALL should watch it. ALL!
