Apart from all the political allegiances and the never-ending quarrells about the historical accuracy, The Pianist is Roman Polanski's best work of art, Adrien Brody's finest performance and one of the most engaging movies about the Second World War.
It was a bit boring sometimes, but this was made up for by the intensity of emotions.
