Review of The Philadelphia Story (1940) by Fabian K — 24 Oct 2008
I liked this movie, although somehow I didn't like Cary Grant's character. I prefered James Stewart, he was more interesting somehow, and of course Katherine Hepburn who dominates the movie. It's adapted from a stageplay, which you can feel, but not in a bad way, and some of the jokes are still funny.
