Review of The Philadelphia Story (1940) by Paul C — 22 Jan 2009
A truly great film with three stellar performances from greats of the Golden Age of Hollywood - although James Stewart won the Oscar, Cary Grant and especially Katherine Hepburn are certainly equal to him - all delivering great one-liners from a sparkling script.
Also brilliantly re-made as a musical (the superb High Society) - this is a must-see film!
