Review of The Philadelphia Story (1940) by Jacqueline J — 07 Jun 2009
A very nice romantic comedy with a lot of wit. It is very well directed by George Cukor. While jimmy Stewart does give a good performance the real stars of the movie are Katharine Hepburn and Cary Grant.
The chemistry between the two of them is perfect and the witty dialogue between them is truly spectacular. A classic film that just keeps getting better.
