I just really can't stand Katherine Hepburn. She was a good enough actress, but her voice and accent and all the rest just bug me. Carey Grant's Carey Grant. He just does his thing from flick to flick. But Jimmy Stewart is a cinematic treasure to behold. Never gave a bad performance, versatile and natural. The greatest actor of all time. And he's just brilliant in this, easy to see why he won the Oscar.

The flick itself is good enough, and has a few entertaining moments, but it's also pretty annoying at times. None of these characters are very likable and by the end it seems almost everyone is in love with everyone else and the Hepburn character will pretty much marry just about anyone. Rich snobs chasing each other around isn't my idea of a good time. It's well made though.
