Review of The Philadelphia Story (1940) by Anna B — 10 May 2014
Katherine Hepburn get's on my nerves. If she didn't speak with that fake grinding English accent then it would help. The opposite applies to Cary Grant, whose American accent is a far better option than his native Bristolian.
I found it difficult to stay concentrated on this film and often drifted off somewhere else. Never a good sign.
