Review of The Phantom Tollbooth (1970) by Jon C — 12 May 2013
I saw this many years ago and it was refreshing to take another glance.
The book was interesting and this movie captures the source material in a colorful manner.
The animation is terrific and not half-baked, the songs are a big change but teach the viewer and even the little kids a thing or two about life's ideas.
The pacing is handled-well, too.
I love Milo's big lesson of re-appreciation and Tock the Watch Dog hugely :).
