Review of The Phantom of the Opera (2004) by Philip V — 07 May 2012
I love the opera as I have seen it twice at the Kennedy center and it is definitely a masterpiece by Andrew Lloyd Webber and I was skeptical when I heard they were making a movie adaptation. Honestly how do you make an opera into a movie, but I was surprisingly impressed.
This movie was very well done and does the opera justice, but no movie will ever fully capture the beauty of this opera.
