Review of The Phantom of the Opera (2004) by Tyler M — 23 Dec 2012
The music of the night has hit a sour note: a over-the-top spectacle with a lackluster pace and missing all of its passion and romance that has made the musical, theaters greatest triumph since Shakespeare.
The Phantom is to young and is tone deaf, Roual is to perky - but Christine in the film is the true Angel of Music in this disappointing film.
