Review of The Phantom of the Opera (1925) by Chelsea G — 06 Jan 2007
Ahh... the silent Phantom of the Opera with Lon Chaney as Erik. Wonderful stuff. I love this because it is so close to the book. I love Raoul kicking the mirror, and I love all of Erik's weird heart attacks.
It's all wonderful. If you watch it, try to get the version with music, though. Because sitting straight through dead silence for two hours is actually even more boring than it sounds...
