Review of The Phantom of the Opera (1925) by Michael S — 21 Oct 2009
One of those films that true fans of horror films, and film history will appreciate and enjoy. The story is masterfully told with no spoken word, and only body language and facial expression.
Lon Chaney was a joy to watch as The Phantom, and his self-designed make up was effective and amazing.
