Review of The Phantom of the Opera (1925) by Benjamin W — 10 Feb 2011
I'm all for silent films, but only when they show more than they explain in the titles. Honestly, it seemed like at least a third of the movie was composed of titles explaining what was going on. At the very least, the Phantom was at least horribly disfigured enough so as to not sympathize with him in the least.
