Review of The Phantom Carriage (1921) by Michael L — 14 Apr 2009
A legend tells that the last person to die in a year will drive the carriage of Death and collect souls for one year to come -- a year where every day feels like a hundred years on earth for the driver.
Terrific film based on Selma Lagerlöf's novel by the same name, this is one of the best silent movies I have ever seen.
