Review of The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012) by Austin R — 26 Dec 2015
THE PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER (2012) is a heartwarming drama written and directed by the author of the book it is based on, Stephen Chbosky. The film follows Charlie (Logan Lerman), an emotionally and physically distant person as he gains two friends in Sam (Emma Watson) and Patrick (Ezra Miller) while he deals with past issues.
I thought this film was amazing, keeping itself true to the book (so I've heard, haven't read it yet) and with the acting and music choices, it all helped the film in my opinion. If you haven't seen the film yet, go see it, but make sure you watch it either alone or with someone who won't disrupt the movie.
