The Perks of Being a Wallflower is a great coming of age movie that I personally found very relatable and meaningful. It tells a really honest story of what it is like being an introvert growing up, and is backed up by terrific performances and writing.
Some of it is a bit far fetched; like a freshman becoming best friends with seniors, but besides these few elements the movie is fantastic all around. It is the type of movie all adolescents should see as it has some really important messages.
