Review of The Perfect Storm (2000) by Annamichelle E — 03 Dec 2012
Having been to the town itself, the Crow's Nest and several other taverns in the area, the movie is a testament to what fisherman face in order to provide for families they love. The film also brings to light the coldness of commercial fishing and that numbers are more important than people.
The scenery of Gloucester and the film let you smell the sea and fish and feel the loss of those who put it on the line every day to make the cogs of business turn.
