Review of The Perfect Storm (2000) by The3Academysins — 17 Nov 2018

While I enjoyed the performances of the leading cast, particularly Mark Wahlberg, George Clooney, John C. Reily, and John Hawkes, the script and execution of The Perfect Storm is completely underwhelming.

The direction is completely lackluster. The movie doesn't know how to start or end. The meat of the story is pretty nice, but the ending makes the whole movie seem pointless. This is a perfect example of a bad movie that is elevated by good performances.

If you are a fan of any of these actors, you can find some enjoyment from The Perfect Storm.
