Yes, I went to see it in the theater and made sure to go in time even if it meant watching all those complimentary trailers.

My problem is not with the plot. Hollywood movie plots are shock full of cliches, so much so that I don't put much emphasis on that.

The problem for me was that I didn't really get to know the characters that well or fall in love with or hate them. Leah breaks up with Dave because they "want different things" and falls in love with Carter the moment they meet, and she introduces him to her parents as her boyfriend in like two days. Talk about fast. Of course she dumps him just as fast after she witnesses him beating the crap out of a guy in a gas station- on their way back from her parent's house.

Carter won't take no for an answer and now, the movie begins. My question was, how will they manage to fill up the time now that the action has happened in such a short amount of time? Of course it is better than having a lagging story, but I wanted a bit more drama.

The movie does an okay good job of keeping me at the edge of my seat. It's predictable. I know that carter will hurt someone but the magic is wondering, how will he do it?

How does an IT guy have so much time on his hands though? slow day at the office perhaps. He manages to hide cameras in Leah's house to watch her every move. He gets into her email. He steals Rusty, her cat. This man will be standing at the unemployment office soon. But then again, it's only a movie.

After its been established that Carter is crazy, she gets back with Dave. Leah doesn't really know what she wants apparently. She rushes into a relationship with mysterious blue eyed Carter and has sex with him within a day of meeting and then, introduces him to the folks?! Too soon Leah. Does the movie want to portray Leah as strong or weak? It can't decide.

The final scene was highly entertaining. The back and forth struggle between Leah and Michael was blood pumping. He or she who gets the gun first, wins. Leah wins and the death scene was very reminiscent of the disappointing 2009 flick, Obsessed.

The movie is not horrible but it could have done with a little more effort. I did enjoy Sanaa as Leah.
