Review of The Perfect Guy (2015) by Ricky G — 23 Sep 2015
You'd think that studios would learn when you make movies like The Boy Next Door there is no need to make another one in the same year. I did now want to see The Perfect Guy even though it had this solid up and coming cast.
I will say the things I did like the acting in this movie was solid Michael Ealy and Sanaa Lathan, but that's about the only thing I liked, it wasn't like a Boy Next Door situation where everything was horrible.
I actually cared about Sanaa Lathan's character. Now let's destroy this movie, the script was really bad and Ealy's character was not nearly as creepy as he should've been, he was mostly just a stereotypical stalker that we've seen a million times and I found myself very bored throughout the whole movie after about an hour I was like "okay hurry up and end" it was the same basic storyline over and over again.
I would not recommend this all I was very bored and it's just not a compelling story, I've seen this type of "crazy boyfriend" a million times and I'm tired of it. Don't watch this.
