This slogan needs to be adapted but just the other way around: "First they're sour. Then they're sweet." First they're sweet. Then they're sour. Early played the role VERY well.

Sanaa's character wasn't as realistic as she aught to have been. She didn't arm herself with either a taser or gun. Didn't change her locks for her home (or, move the spare key). No cameras installed.

This movie is a classic example what to do and what NOT to do in similar cases.
