Review of The People vs. Larry Flynt (1996) by Dan B — 25 Apr 2008
I passed on this when it first came out because, well, because of the prurient interest inherent in the subject matter. But when I was staying up late the other night it came on Universal HD and I was surprised that it was really a thought-provoking study of the First Amendment.
I also find interesting that the authorities have never apprehended anyone in connection with the shooting of Larry Flynt that left him paralyzed. Crackpot... or conspiracy?
