Review of The People vs. Larry Flynt (1996) by Haruka O — 29 Jan 2008
A classy movie about censorship battles in America, featuring one of the best court scenes I've ever seen. The only movie in which Courtney Love seems respectable (she's practically playing herself) and a grand performance from Edward Norton.
I subtracted a star for a number of details that were left out and thus made the story hard to follow at times... but other than that it was great.
