Review of The People vs. Larry Flynt (1996) by Benjamin E — 27 Sep 2008
Pretty solid rise- and fall biography. For some reason they made those a lot in the 90's: "Boogie Nights", "Goodfellas", "Casino" etc. Harrelson and Norton do good job, but Milos Forman plays everything a bit too safe.
Obviously Larry Flynt is the coolest guy on the planet, but it somehow could have shown even more. Not Milos Forman's best work, but that doesn't mean it's bad in any way.
