The People Vs. Larry Flynt is a vary smart and funny drama that brings you from tears of laughter to tears of grief. The film Stars Woody Harelson, Ed Norton, and the surprisingly talented Courtney Love. If you are unfamiliar with who Larry Flynt is, than this is all you need to know, THE MAN MADE HUSTLER! Larry Flynt, the man who made the most tasteless pornography is also the source of one of the greatest movies of all time (that being the People Vs. Larry Flynt).
The film showcases the countless times Flynt went to court due to his famous magazine and the contents inside. It also showcases the lack of respect he shows for the courtroom and public figures. Though by title and knowing what magazine he is known for may make you guess that the movie lacks heart, this a completely incorrect thought. The film has heart, because the man which it so vividly depicts has heart. Larry Flynt: "Opinions are like assholes, everybody's got one.".
