The People Under the Stairs owes itself for being hilariously horrifying due to Wes Craven's script and direction, but also owes its flaws to for the same reason. However, the imbalance between horror and comedy doesn't detract from The People Under the Stairs from being a bloody, silly good time as a Wes Craven classic with the youthful, almost stark raving mad performance that comes with the cast.
